All colors that you see on the eggs are all natural emu eggshell colors (no dyes or paints were used). Naturally the outer color of  the emu egg  is dark emerald-green. When carving the egg through, the teal color reveals (this layer is the thickest and has several shades of teal: from darker to lighter). And the inner layer of the emu egg is white and very thin.

I use high-speed hand piece "TurboCarver" to carve the eggs.
